When is the Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027?
The Kumbh period opens on Saturday 31 October 2026 with the flag hoisting at Nashik and Trimbakeshwar. The three shahi snan fall on 2 August 2027 and 31 August 2027 at both towns, and on 11 September 2027 at Nashik with 12 September 2027 at Trimbakeshwar. The period closes on 24 July 2028 at Trimbakeshwar and 29 July 2028 at Nashik.
When are the bathing days of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027?
The Simhastha runs from the flag hoisting on 31 October 2026 to the closing ceremony in July 2028. Between them are three shahi snan, the royal bathing days, and thirteen further Parvani days — peak bathing days when the ghats fill. Every dated day is below.

How to read these tables
Every date here is published by the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority in its Kumbh Mela Plan, which states that it is interim and subject to revision. No formal government notification of the dates has been published, and the Act that created the Authority fixes no dates. The tithi is given for 31 October 2026 only, because the Rashtriya Panchang for the years the other dates fall in is not yet published. No hour has been published for the akhada processions or for general bathing on any day.
