How to reach Trimbakeshwar for the Kumbh Mela 2027
Trimbakeshwar has no railway station of its own. Most pilgrims reach it from Nashik by road, whether they flew, took the train, or came by bus into the city first.

How far is Trimbakeshwar from Nashik?
Trimbakeshwar is about 30 km from Nashik city, on the direct road most pilgrims use. From Nashik Road railway station, the distance is 35 to 40 km.
A pilgrim arriving by train covers the longer of these two distances. A pilgrim who has already reached Nashik city covers the shorter one. Either way, the last stretch is by road.

Most pilgrims take the direct road from Nashik city. NH-160A is the highway for anyone approaching from Sinnar, or continuing past Trimbakeshwar towards Jawhar and Palghar.
A traveller coming from Mumbai can also reach Trimbakeshwar without going through Nashik city: leaving the Mumbai–Agra road near Ghoti, or turning off the Mumbai–Ahmedabad highway at Charoti Naka, about 90 km from Trimbakeshwar.

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation runs a bus stand at Trimbakeshwar, part of its Nashik division. No Kumbh timetable has been announced.
