The ancestral rites have standing in the tradition when a qualified priest performs them for a family that cannot be present. A bath is different: nobody bathes for anyone else, and nobody's bath at the river is anyone else's.
Named for Your Ancestors
The sankalp names your family's gotra and each of the departed, with how each was related. The pinda are offered to the grandfather and the great-grandfather, in your father's line and your mother's line.

Submit Gotra & Ancestor Names
Share your gotra, the ancestral line on both your father's and mother's side, the native village, and a preferred date — through the site or over WhatsApp. If the gotra is not recorded in your family, the priest is told and he decides.
The Rite at Aparahna Kaal
At Ramkund ghat during aparahna kaal, the window found from that day's panchang, the priest says your family sankalp. The pinda — rice pressed by hand with til and ghee — are set down on darbha grass and offered with the Sanskrit mantras.
Video Documentation & Immersion
Our team films the sitting. You hear your family name and your ancestors invoked in the sankalp. The offerings are then immersed in the Godavari current at Ramkund.
Bahi-Khata Entry & Delivery
The video is sent to you on WhatsApp or by email, to whichever you gave at booking. Ramkund's purohits keep the bahi-khata registers, arranged by village and by gotra. Nothing is posted. There is no package.
